合宿の１日の流れ
A Day at the Camp

自然の中での稽古 または アクティビティ
Training in nature, or various activities
滝行・山の行（トレッキング）・十和田湖でのレイクアクティビティ・田んぼ体験・文化体験・神社参拝・坐禅や写経・祭りやイベントへの参加・温泉 etc.
Waterfall meditation, mountain training/trekking, lake activities at Lake Towada, rice field experience, cultural workshops, shrine visits, zazen meditation or sutra copying, joining local festivals and events, hot springs, etc.

アクティビティの内容は時期や天候などにより変動しますので、その都度最適なプランニングをしております。

*合宿行程は、初日の午前9:00開始、最終日は昼頃に終了予定です。
シェアハウスは前日泊、また終了日翌日までのご利用も可能です。
*The camp program begins at 9:00 AM on the first day and is scheduled to finish around noon on the final day.
Our shared house is available for overnight stay the day before the program starts,
and you may also extend your stay until the day after the camp ends.

年齢 Age Requirements
目安：14歳〜60代位まで
Recommended age: approximately 14 to 60s.
*食事・洗濯・清掃など日常生活を自分でこなせる方であれば、ご相談の上、14歳未満でもご参加いただける場合がございます。
*年齢の上限はあくまで目安ですが、稽古や体験は体を動かす内容なので、無理なくご参加いただくためにも、健康で基礎的な体力のある方が望ましいです。

Participants under 14 may be accepted upon consultation, provided they are able to manage daily tasks such as meals, laundry, and cleaning independently.

The upper age limit is only a guideline. Since training and activities involve physical movement, participants should be in good health and have a basic level of fitness to join safely and comfortably.

* Please note: The activities vary depending on the season, weather, and other factors, and we plan the most suitable experiences accordingly. Changes may occur due to circumstances, so we cannot guarantee specific activities.
Depending on your preferences and the situation, we may also propose optional activities that incur an additional fee (in such cases, the cost will be provided in advance).
*Transportation to the dojo/accommodation (e.g., airfare) and meals or drinks outside of the included activities are not covered by the basic fee.
* Additional charges may apply depending on your requests.

Martial arts uniforms and equipment are provided for international participants.
However, if you prefer to use your own, please bring the following items.

Hiro (Hiroyuki Yashiro)
After dedicating his youth to kendo, he began working in the entertainment industry in his twenties. He has appeared in movies, TV dramas, and on stage. His activities span a wide range, including sword fighting, action scenes, dubbing for lead actors, stunts, dance, and musicals.
In parallel with his acting career, he has been professionally involved in traditional martial arts for over 30 years.
He has founded a new discipline called 'Bugeido MUSUBI' and serves as its master.

Yui
She began her career as a child actor from a young age. During middle school, she took up kendo. In high school, she began formal training in theater, learning acting techniques. After high school, she focused mainly on stage acting.
In parallel with her acting career, she studied traditional martial arts under Mr. Yashiro.
In 2015, she co-founded 'Bugeido MUSUBI' with Mr. Yashiro, taking on the roles of representative, performer, and instructor.
AKITA INAKA SCHOOL
CEO:
Dom
CEO of Akita Inaka School, Japanese Language School. Based in Akita, he offers a unique program that combines language education with rural experiences, attracting fans of Kosaka Town from all over the world. He is the “culprit” who inspired MUSUBI to relocate to Akita.
Under MUSUBI’s guidance, he has trained extensively in samurai arts such as katana, jō jyutsu, and karate, and has earned a black belt.
Japanese Language Teacher & English Translation Supporter:
Mia
A Japanese language teacher who also speaks English, she loves rural life and moved from Saitama to Akita. As a professional in Japanese, she provides lessons and leads various projects while training in katana at MUSUBI.
During the Samurai Experience Camp, she mainly helps with English translation, ensuring international participants have a smooth and enjoyable stay.

きっかけ・思い
私たちの道場は、かつて東京郊外に道場を構えておりましたが、
武道と自然、そして暮らしが一体となるような生き方を求めて、
2021年、秋田県小坂町へと拠点を移しました。
これまで東京の道場には、世界各国から多くの方が稽古に訪れてくださいました。
しかし、どうしても「道場の中だけの体験」にとどまりがちで、日本の文化や日常に触れる機会まで届けることができないことに、もどかしさを感じていました。
稽古と暮らしを切り離すのではなく、日本の暮らしや文化をも含めて体感できるようなプログラムをいつか提供したい
――そんな思いを長く抱いていました。
小坂町とのご縁
そんな折、ご縁をいただいたのが、小坂町にある日本語学校「AKITA INAKA SCHOOL（AIS）」です。
CEOのDomさんが、生徒さん向けに武道体験を企画されており、講師を探していた中で、私たちの道場を訪ねてくださいました。
そして実際にお招きいただき、現地を訪れたことがきっかけで、小坂町とのご縁が生まれました。
「いつかは田舎へ」と思い描いていた私たちにとって、このご縁ははまさにそのタイミングに重なり、道場ごと移住を決めるに至りました。
「侍合宿」の実現
AISは語学教育にとどまらず、田舎ならではの豊かな体験を積極的に提供しており、それはまさに私たちが道場として目指していたスタイルとも重なるものでした。
また、Domさんご自身も日本文化、特に武道に対して深い関心をお持ちで、私たちの道場にて長年にわたり稽古を重ねてくださいました。
こうした交流を通じて、AISとMUSUBIとの間には自然と強いつながりが築かれていき、
このたび、語学ではなく武道を軸とした、新たな滞在型プログラムを共同で立ち上げることとなりました。
この地で滞在型のプログラムを実現することは、実は簡単なことではありません。
自然豊かで魅力的な土地である一方、合宿を受け入れるには交通や宿泊、食事などの整備が欠かせません。私たちだけでは対応が難しい課題も多くありました。
しかし幸いなことに、AISはすでにそうした受け入れ体制をしっかり整えており、そのサポートのおかげで、この侍合宿プログラムの実現が叶いました。

Our Inspiration
Our dojo was originally located in the suburbs of Tokyo. However, seeking a way of life where martial arts, nature, and daily living are fully integrated, we moved our base to Kosaka Town, Akita Prefecture in 2021.
Over the years, many people from all over the world visited our Tokyo dojo for training. Yet, we often felt frustrated that these experiences tended to remain confined to the dojo, without offering a chance to truly experience Japanese culture and daily life. We have long wished to offer a program where training and everyday life are not separated, allowing participants to immerse themselves in Japanese culture as well as martial arts.
Our Connection with Kosaka Town
It was around this time that we formed a connection with AKITA INAKA SCHOOL (AIS), a Japanese language school in Kosaka Town. CEO Dom had been planning martial arts experiences for students and was looking for instructors when he visited our dojo.
Being invited to Kosaka Town and experiencing the area firsthand sparked our connection with the town. For us, who had long dreamed of moving to the countryside, this encounter came at just the right moment and ultimately led to our decision to relocate the entire dojo.
Realizing the “Samurai Experience Camp”
AIS goes beyond language education, actively offering rich, countryside experiences that perfectly align with the style we envisioned for our dojo. Dom himself has a deep interest in Japanese culture, especially martial arts, and has trained with us for many years.
Through this exchange, a strong bond naturally formed between AIS and MUSUBI. This collaboration has now made it possible to launch a new residential program centered on martial arts rather than language learning.
Challenges and Support
Launching a residential program in this area is not without its challenges. While the land is rich in nature and charm, hosting a training camp requires proper arrangements for transportation, accommodation, and meals. There were many challenges we could not handle alone.
Fortunately, AIS already had a solid support system in place for such accommodations. Thanks to their support, we were able to bring the Samurai Experiance Camp program to life.
